Resource Materials are, in essence, the building blocks that crafters use to create items. They also provide many more avenues into the game through the action of production in downtime and management of your own economy and the national on to global economy.

Resource Materials are harvested by Specialist buildings that range from mines to Gardens to Woodcutters settlements. These can be owned by players and attatched to settlements which grants that building and that settlement better prospects for their individual, downtime futures.

Resource Materials are grouped into types that reflect the specialist style of crafters that operate in those fields. Each resource guarantees a pull of two shapes from a crafters bag but a crafter, specialised in a field gains additional shapes from their bags with specialiast materials as they progress in skill.
