Festive Extravaganza 2021
We know that the Festive season is often hard for many of us – this year, our community has come together to organise a Festive calendar of online games and streams – feel free to drop in, get involved or check it out on Twitch! There will also be a sequence of games that are available without streaming for peeps that are less comfortable online.
With Covid rising and a lot of people home alone over Christmas we are looking to bring folks together to join in with the games that we are running and hopefully offer up some one shots themselves.
The calendar is below – but the exciting blurbs for the games are right here to amaze and amuse! Drop a message to Trews (Hews Fandango on Discord) to get involved with the games or, if you want to fill a slot yourself, please let him know – we’d love to have you along!
Some games have a maximum number of players – we will be allocating spaces on a first come, first served basis. Please be aware that if you’ve signed up for everything and they are full, we might need to give a slot to someone who only has the availability for one game. Of course, you’re more than welcome to come in and watch us! And do ask if you have any questions or concerns.
Stephen’s Games
The following games are either one or two session games which will feature either low or absolutely no rules outside of descriptive activities.
Tardis’ Time Team – Rulesless
Set in the Whoniverse this one shot sees the players take on the roles of Gallifreyans and humans in the seedy underworld of Nineteen Twenties Chicago, deep in the heart of Winter. A temporal glitch draws the attention of the High Council to the prohibition struck streets of the Windy City. What is happening behind the locked doors of the Genna’s Warehouse? Why have the police abandoned their war against the bootleggers? And who left Al Capone’s bloodied body to die in the snow?

Stargate SG 9 – Rulesless
Set in the Stargate SG1 Universe this one shot sees the players take on the roles of military specialists, scientists, professors and grunts as they take on the role of a returning SG team from a standard mission. The story promises mystery, action and the classic threats that the original show brought to the world.

What happens when I wake up with Super Powers? – Rulesless
Set in the real world, now, in a game where you play you but with super powers! The morning after the night before sees your roleplayed alter egos awaken into a brave new world exhibiting strange powers and unusual talents but at what cost? What WOULD you do with the gift of flight, super strength or speed? And what would the world do when they found out you existed?

Stingray, The Roleplaying Game – Rules will be provided
The year is 2065, and the world is united in peace. Mankind has conquered the stars, so attention turns to the exploration of the oceans. The vast, uncharted depths provide valuable minerals, but also hide new and mysterious alien races, not all of whom are entirely friendly
The Aquaphibians take offence to the surface dweller’s forays into their undersea kingdom. Titan, their ruler, swears to invade the surface world in revenge. All that can stop him is the World Aquanaut Security Patrol – WASP.
WASP is an organisation of fearless individuals dedicated to preserving world peace. Their key weapon in the fight against the Aquaphibians is Stingray, a futuristic, nuclear-powered submarine. Troy Tempest is its heroic captain, ably supported by his team at Marineville headquarters.
