Kyranry

Core Word – Binding
Support Words – Daemons, Chaos, Artifice and Politic

Predetermined Spells

Name: – Sourceror’s Blade
Magnitude –
1
Word – Control
Description –
The first use of magic taught within the Order of Kyranry is traditionally this spell. The Sourceror touches a blade and invokes their mastery of the Source to imbue the weapon with that power, enabling it to strike daemons and other corrupted beings.
Effect: The weapon touched may call ‘Source’ three times before it needs to be ‘recharged’ by the Sourceror.

Name – Lesser Malefic Binding
Magnitude –
2
Word – Binding
Description –
Through the use of this basic binding lesser Daemons can be bound into a suitable vessel. Most commonly this is used with a prepared foci or amulet which will hold the corruption in check naturally. More powerful Daemons will easily break free from the control and unsuitable vessels may crack or break before their time.
Effect –
The Sourceror may attempt to bind a Magnitude 1 Daemon without knowing its name and into a suitable vessel. A Magnitude 1 Daemon will remain bound indefinitely. A Magnitude 2 Daemon will be able to break out in between 30 minutes and 24 hours, usually at an inconvenient moment and largely dependent on the suitability of the vessel. A Magnitude 3 or greater Daemon will not be bound by this effect.

Fae A’Ryn

Core Word – Binding
Support Words – Daemons, Purification, Secrets and Corruption

Predetermined Spells

Name: Daemonbane
Magnitude:
1
Word: Control
Description:
Though they prefer to engage their foes with the raw power of the Comet, there are times when the blades of allies must be made fit for the task. The Sourceror touches a blade and invokes their mastery of the Source to imbue the weapon with that power, enabling it to slay the Daemonfoe.
Effect: The weapon touched may call ‘Source’ three times before it needs to be ‘recharged’ by the Sourceror.

Name: Power From Corruption
Magnitude: 2
Word: Control
Description:
Through use of this forbidden art, the Fae’A’Ryn turn the weapons of the enemy against themselves. The Sourceror pulls Corruption from the area and takes it into their own body, sealing away its ability to corrupt the world and drawing upon it for extra strength in their future endeavours, though opening oneself to this corruption comes at a steep cost.
Effect:
The Sourceror draws a number of Backlash cards at a Magnitude determined by the Ref. Once these have been fully resolved they gain 1 temporary point of Defiance for the remainder of the day and cleanse an area.

Ithyarn

Predetermined Spells

Name: Stalwart Weapons
Magnitude:
1
Word: Control
Description:
There is none within the Order of Ithyarn who do not know how to imbue their chosen weapon with the power at their command. The Sourceror touches a weapon and invokes their mastery of the Source to imbue the weapon with that power, enabling it to harm those who would otherwise be impervious to mortal blade.
Effect: The weapon touched may call ‘Source’ three times before it needs to be ‘recharged’ by the Sourceror.

Name: The Sleepless Rite
Magnitude:
2
Word: Vigorousness
Description:
Those who swear to the Order cannot allow the frailty of their mortal forms to keep them from their duty. Through means of this invocation, applied once every twelve hours, they may force themselves to stay alert and invigorated, with no need to ingest food or express waste. Long term use of this invocation (more than a few weeks at most) has been known to make a Sourceror turn a little strange.
Effect:
The Sourceror may immediately counteract any penalties associated with hunger, fatigue or similar physiological conditions. In addition, the first three effects which would institute such debilitating effects are ignored.
