Good Day wonderful folk
Welcome to the Monday Message which we hope finds you in fine form, fetlock and fettle after having the best week that you possibly could. All our love and thanks for this weekend’s amazing team that put in a massive performance for our online game. It was great to be able to fit in all the forms of game that we worked on in lockdown so seamlessly into the new look game and see SO many peeps showing up and getting that involved.

We also offer up our praise to all of the front line emergency services still out there fighting to keep us all safe and continue to show our appreciation with free games and priority bookings for all those that fit the bill out there. All the love to all of you.
Back in the realm of RoC we have had a very busy seven days…
The Online game dominated the room, there was a lot of work that went into it and marked a change in lead personnel: We all know that Holly is behind a lot of what is best at RoC but the OLG marked her debut solo run as the story writer for the new look RoC. She has plenty of events under her belt from the olden days and they have always been well received but with Unending she really pulled it out of the bag.
This transition is a massive step in her new role as the system director for plot, story and character development alongside Jon’s cover and Shadow who are making the system the amazing new world that it is. Jon is on some sick leave which means that Holly was relying on Lina and Ross along with Mike and Trews to bring the game to life and they really did. The lead in for the September event was properly epic and we are already preparing plans for another OLG in the not too distant future.

As promised the exploits of the apologue labyrinthe is being processed: The Mirror still broken but the pieces once more within the frame, the tales of fox and bat and owl still locked away in darkness but the essence of the lost Lion briefly seen once more. The Winter Rivers at the doorstep of the protector and other cryptic phrases will all be explained in a debrief that will be posted in the Online Game Discord Channels. The Excite.
If you want to be along to, what is, this years big event then the Audience with Edmund Lionsgold is for you. We’ll be updating the event information as we move along but for now here are the basics.
Get your tickets, and more info, here!

We also kicked off a Patreon Meeting and will be releasing the Patreon related information this week and updating to our three new streams of focus. These will all be updated and explained in the coming days but come hand in hand with our land viewings this week. Some of the Core Team have been viewing land across Hampshire in the last two months and today are visiting two final choices with an eye to make offers for both. By the end of September we are hopeful that we will be able to announce another two new RoC sites.

There is so much more to tell but for now we will let you soak in what we have here and leave you to await more posts with baited breath. We are almost there, good people.
Finally, as some you folks may know, a member of our community, the amazing Emma, was recently diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. She has been raising cash for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society via Facebook since before her diagnosis, and now she’s built a Fundraising page so that she can do more to kick cancer in the ass! We are so, so proud of Emma and would like to encourage anyone with some cash to consider donating to this awesome charity!

In the meantime, if you want to get involved, tell stories, play games, run games or whatever we are continuing to build that community and you can find us here and that goes doubly for anything you need for the LARP or just for company on long locked in days. Equally If you want to join us on Patreon we are here.
As ever folks: If you need us, for any reason, let us know and if we can help in any way we will, whatever you are up against.
In the meantime have a Foxes and Crows week people, we look forward to seeing a whole bunch of you at the online game and bumping into even more of you, online, between now and then.
Take Care of Each Other
Much Love,
The RoC Core Team x
