Happy Monday Wonderful People of the World,
We hope that this message finds you in fine form, fetlock and fettle and that you had the best weekend that you could wherever you were and whatever you were doing. We would also like to extend our love and appreciation for all the amazing professionals in the emergency services that are out in the world and continue to extend the offer of free games and priority bookings as we do.

Right!
This weekend was our first weekend back in the woods in almost a year and by golly do our legs ache! Regardless, that was a really good first pass return to the game with a relaunch of the system, a whole host of new players and new team members and a new site to boot. It didn’t go perfectly, we learnt a whole load of new ways of doing things but all things considered that was an excellent weekend and honestly: We can’t wait to do it again.

Massive thanks to all of the crew and their teams that worked SO hard to make the weekend happen: For the last five weeks, solidly, people organised the kit (to such an extent that they ran a kit fayre), to the people that gave up their time to get people ready for the new game and especially for the people that built the decks. Then the people that wrote the plot, made the feat sheets, handouts, built props, made costumes…Gosh you all did an amazing job and we are eternally grateful.

We’ll let the pictures of the site and the event tell most of the story for us but we will take the opportunity to welcome on board all of the new players that rocked up and showed us a good time and especially to Gary! The format of having a storyteller on the Friday night and a massive group meal was amazing and really set us up for a good weekend and is definitely something that we will be doing again.

As you can see: New site, new props, new suits all came together alongside the new people and to push out the event and a fair amount happened. To everyone this was all new and we definitely learned a lot from Event One. How to use the site, how to move the events around and how to give the players a whole lot more freedom in moving around and doing stuff all comes to mind and now that we have run the event we will be announcing Event 2 at the same site in the next few hours.

Alongside that and this week we will also be producing the following:
- Opening plot update – We know a lot of people wanted to be at event one and we will be providing them an overview of what they were up to and where they were.
- Off Screen reports will come out
- More photos will be shared!
- Debrief and next time on……

I think we will leave it there for this Monday, there will be more to come in the following days but in the meantime if you want to get involved, tell stories, play games, run games or whatever we are continuing to build that community and you can find us here and that goes doubly for anything you need for the LARP or just for company on long locked in days. Equally, if you want to join us on Patreon we are here.

As ever folks: If you need us, for any reason, let us know and if we can help in any way we will, whatever you are up against.
In the meantime have a Foxes and Crows week people, we look forward to seeing a whole bunch of you at the online game and bumping into even more of you, online, between now and then.
Take Care of Each Other
Much Love,
Stephen and the RoC Core Team x
