Good day amazing larpers of the world!
I hope, as ever I do, that this message finds you in fine form, fetlock and fettle and that you have all had the best weekend that you could wherever you have been and whatever you have been up to.
Our continued love and any support and all of our thanks to all of the emergency services peeps and key workers who are battling to keep us alive and well. I cannot properly express the appreciation and pride that I have for who you are and what you are doing when faced with the virus and the circumstances that you are presented with to combat it.
Equally to all of you listening to and following the advice, staying at home, wearing your masks and generally being sensible. Well done and thank you.
Last week on RoC!
We did our first full week of the Online Game which is going supremely well. The game is aimed at introducing new characters to the backdrop of the world and it has seen them begin a journey into the out of the way fiefdom of Silver Freeze in the Ferns. A sinister past looms among the ancient Jasha Trees, hints of a resurgent power in a forgotten grove appear and a daemonic threat has appeared in a wayward massport beacon. This set against questions over land ownership and the potential of a duplicitous mayor has led to more questions than answers thus far.
There are still three spaces left in the game but those close on Sunday the 31st of January with the game being aimed at starting characters or any characters still spending in Tier 1.
On Sunday we announced the RPG’s we’ll be running via the interwebs those being Call of Cthulhu run by me which has one space left and Tom is running a game of Rifts Savage Lands which has a couple of spaces left after yesterday. If you want in, pop into the Discord and find the channel for the games to be involved. They are running every other Monday for our Patreons of any level.
People are also signing up for the Formula De league that will be running on Sunday afternoon between lunch and dinner. We are so keen that we will be sending out prizes for the winners: Again open on Discord to our Patreons.
We have also opened a sequence of channels for: Miniature painting with Ed and Matt, our resident pro painters, gaming channels for streaming and a host of community channels. I have become a guinea pig for a VR game called The Room in which the viewers ended up steering me around and deciding my actions. Apparently this may become a team game soon.
This week we will be releasing daily updates for all of you wanting to respend your characters into version 12 with the launch for that project beginning on February first. Keep your eyes here on our news page or any of our social media platforms for deets.
So that’s us!
As ever folks: If you need us let us know and if we can help in any way we will, whatever you are up against.
In the meantime have a Foxes and Crows week people, we look forward to seeing a whole bunch of you at the online game and bumping into even more of you, online, between now and then.
Take Care of Each Other
