Every month the Rising of Chicanery puts together two events at the sleepy village Hall in Plaitford situated just off the A36, halfway between Southampton and Salisbury. These two events are affectionately known as RoCCoN but are put on over seperate weekends, at least at the moment.

All Aboard Saturdays

The second Saturday of the month brings our first offering in the shape of All Aboard Saturday. Here we bring tens and occasionally hundreds of board, card and skirmish games to the hall and let you have at it. You can book time slots for certain games, request that specialist games are brought in for you and also ask for demos.

Role On Saturdays

The Last Saturday of the month sees us rock up with roleplaying intentions and games a plenty. The Hall provides space for a number of groups with the option run your own games or join in with the things that we are running. We are happy to close off and dress areas appropriate to genre where we can, provide sound and special effects and make the kitchen available!

The Chicanery team is in the habit of writing and publilshing its own work and also offers the option to playtest some of it’s games ahead of release.
