Balish Thorn has been in and out of military service of one form another since he was lad in his early teens. With nobility not given senior position within the guild promising commoners who will not cease the opportunity to misuse their new strength are selected. Thorn is one of the shining examples of such an individual. Born in 1962 Thorn has worked for both the Basanic military and commanded several mercenary units before joining Silent Company again having trained with them in his youth. General Thorn is an exemplar of all things Silent Company, his decisions and orders are without reproach; he is greatly missed by the Royal Basin.
